ROUND BALL

(sigh)

It's the middle of round ball season, and I'm not happy. You know the drill. Duke is at the top of my list of fav teams, but it's languishing in mediocrity this year. The Blue Devils fell from #5 to #11 after a horrendous loss to Virginia Tech over the weekend. Great game to watch, but the Devils should be ashamed.

But if you're interested, there are some terrific athletes out there this year who mesmerize me with their talent. Here they are:

UConn's reserve Doug Wiggins
West Virginia's Frank Young
Tennessee's Duke Crews
Clemson's James Mays
Arizona's Chase Budinger
Ohio State's Greg Oden
UCLA's Darren Collison
Florida's Joakim Noah
North Carolina's Tyler Hansbrough

I'd like to include the entire roster from Duke, but I'm afraid I'm not impressed. Josh McRoberts is about the best they have, and I haven't seen a lot to smile about this year with him.

Clemson's the team to watch.
